How to Run It
- Set Atlas Tree: Take Extreme Archeology on the Atlas tree to unlock Big Boom. Pack Size nodes scale the number of runic monsters spawned per expedition.
- Load Your Scarabs: Run two Expedition Scarabs of Runefinding, one Verisium Powder, one Archeology, and one Infusion. Swap Archeology or Infusion for Monstrous Lineage if difficulty is too punishing or scarabs too expensive.
- Pick Your Map: Any open layout works. Use an Eater or Exarch beacon for red altars, which give more currency early league. Pack Size chisel is optional but adds value if cheap.
- Run the Explosion: Skip precise placement. Find the best cluster of remnants and runic monsters and detonate the largest explosion you can. More remnants detonated means harder but more rewarding encounters.
- Manage Difficulty: Watch for damage immunity remnants that can shut down your build. Expedition monsters have high block, so ensure your build can deal with it. Scale back scarabs if encounters become unmanageable.
Use Extreme Archeology to make expeditions efficient. Ignore specific placement and blow up the best remnant and runic monster combo. Scale explosion size on the Atlas tree and scarabs. More remnants and modifiers mean harder but more rewarding expeditions. The strategy rewards builds that can handle high difficulty encounters and deal with immunities.
