League Start Update: Mirage League First Weekend Wrap Up
We got what we wanted out of the first weekend, even if it was a lot more challenging than I had hoped.
Holy Hammers has some solid clear but honestly it just didn't feel quite right as I was progressing and learning the league. The good news is the build is in a much better place now, we're tankier, hit harder, and are scaling warcries with Echoes of Creation and Ashes which has been a big improvement.

That said, I still don't see this as my end game build. I want something that can blindly click altars, ignore map mods, and just roll whatever is juiciest. This build has a few too many limitations in its current iteration to do that comfortably. I'll see how it develops into next week but I might be making the switch into KBOC soon.
The Good
The new endgame was a nice surprise — a little exploring and learning involved but it's a big QoL improvement for map management. I'm sure they'll iron out the kinks by next patch and it'll be smooth sailing.
The league mechanic is pretty good. The most fun part of the map is being inside the Mirage itself — big win there.
Breach is back to its original form and I love it, overlapping breach is great for XP and just fun to play. Also seems like the juiciest strat at the moment which we kind of expected (thought more hive than the circles but seems both are rewarding).
Ritual pairs really well with the league mechanic too, super efficient with decent loot and so many rerolls on the scarab buffs.
And shrines with the new shrine belt? Nice to have some chase diversity, shrines honestly carried me hard through map progression.
The Not So Good
Servers had a rough time over the weekend, pretty laggy at points.
This build doesn't do Blight well so the full verdict is still pending there, but it's not looking great.
Astrolabes feel pretty pricey for the ones you'd actually want to run and seem to have a low drop rate. The per-quadrant rewards are a mixed bag — nice to give quadrants some identity but I'd love more diversity. Running Dunes I'm mostly just seeing maps with the occasional Valdo's.
Overall though, really solid opening weekend. Looking forward to seeing where things go from here.
